The Unit is supported by the latest medical technology and equipment, ICU team of experienced critical care specialists and qualified nurses to provide fast and efficient intensive supportive care to critically ill patients of multi-disciplinary.

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Hospital Lam Wah Ee provides specialized treatments for patients in various critical conditions:
- Patients with severe infectious diseases and septic shock
- Critical condition patients with various organ dysfunction or failure like of the kidney or liver or acute gastrointestinal bleeding
- Critical condition patients with neurological disorders
- Coma patients
- Immediate post-operative patients requiring continual observation and frequent monitoring
- Critical patients with respiratory treatment and/or using ventilators and requiring close observation
- Obstetric patients
