Patient Education
The Patient Education of Hospital Lam Wah Ee is an integral part of the health services. Important elements of patient education are skill building and responsibility: patients need to know when, how, and why they need to make a lifestyle change.
Patient educators impart information to patients and their caregivers that will alter their health behaviours or improve their health status. This will create awareness and provide appropriate knowledge for early detection of diseases, prevention of complications and promotion of healthy lifestyle.
