The Hospital and its staff strive to give you utmost attention to ensure that your medical needs are taken care of. The Hospital acknowledges that your family members are allowed to participate in your decision-making process as long as the said decision is reasonable.
Your personal privacy and dignity shall be respected at all times.
You may select the doctor of our choice, as long as the doctor is available and can provide the service required. You may also request for a second opinion when necessary, at your personal expense.
You will be provided with information about your medical condition, diagnosis, management and prognosis.
You may choose to accept or refuse the treatment that is recommended as long as you are aware of the resulting consequences.
You will be required to give consent for any procedures performed on you. This is after you are given explanations regarding the nature of the procedures, the foreseeable risks or side effects, the expected results and the problems during recovery.
In the case of children, the consent shall be obtained from the parents or the legal guardians.
You will be provided with the estimated charges and billing procedures. An itemized will be provided, and you may request to a further explanation of the Hospital charges.
You may request a medical report and a copy of the relevant investigations and results. A fee is charged for medical reports.
You have the right to know the identity of the staff responsible for your treatment and care. Staff are identified through name tags and uniforms where applicable.
If there should be any grievance, please request to see a senior nursing officer or senior member of the Customer Service Department.
